Final results from the 2007 elections were certified in late December and the Integrity Party fared better than several other parties at the Suffolk County-wide level including Working Families, Libertarian and Justice for All parties. Peter Busacca received 2.6% of the vote for County Executive.
In Southampton, the Integrity Party went 3-0 in the marquee races (the only party to do so), helping elect Linda Kabot Supervisor in a four-way race and Nancy Graboski and Anna Throne-Holst to Council in a five-way race. The coalition ticket really resonated with voters. PLATFORM
Several other Integrity-endorsed candidates fared well in their races, including winners Theresa Whelan for Suffolk County Family Court Justice, Tom Barraga, Ed Romaine and John Kennedy for Suffolk County Legislature as well as many more town candidates.

The Integrity Party recently was instrumental in helping pull off a Southampton GOP primary upset with candidates Linda Kabot and Nancy Graboski, who won supervisor and council primaries respectively on Sept. 18. As well, the Integrity Party provided the difference in last year's tumultuous Islip supervisor race and the 2005 sheriff's race upset staged by Vincent DeMarco over seemingly entrenched Al Tisch.

Since November 2004, our group of proven political activists from across the ideological spectrum has been meeting in locations across Long Island, deciding to put aside the issues that in the past divided us and instead combine forces to break up what is often a one-party system in the county. The Integrity Party is made up of members of all five political parties and independents and has developed a democratic governing structure and firm code of ethics. There is no need to change party affiliation to become involved in this group. We hold no preconceived notions – our membership is conservative, liberal and everything in between – and we will give all candidates a fair shake. We hope that you could join us. CONTACT US
The newly formed Integrity Party is currently looking for volunteers to serve as regional chairs throughout the State. Your party affiliation does not matter, and you will not be asked to change parties in order to help our independent cause. The Integrity Party is quickly becoming a true third party in New York State, running populist candidates who believe in ballot access, equal rights, protecting the working class and the environment and proactively helping those in need. We are made up of members of all five state political parties and independents. Contact Integrity@TwinForks.com or 631-747-1672 to bring Integrity to your region. If the party gets 15,000 signatures and 50,000 votes for governor this fall, we become "official" -- that means you'll have incredible power in the next four years to bring about real change in your region. But we need your help now to get there. Organize our petition drive in your county.
A nonpartisan party may sound like an oxymoron, but that’s exactly the kind of third party that a group of activists in Riverhead are trying to form. Rather than allowing the party to veer off toward the ideological extremes as third parties often do--think the Greens on the left and Conservatives on the right--Integrity Party organizers want to create an alternative that welcomes all political stripes and looks for common ground.
“It’s a coalition effort,” says Darren Johnson, one of the party’s founders. “We have Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Conservatives, blanks and Working Families Party members. We have decided to put aside our ideological differences on issues like abortion and gun control and come together for the working man.” READ MORE
Exercising your democratic right is often a thankless task, but the public needs good people to run to help keep our system honest. I wish more people shared your initiative. We have formed a new independent party in this county and state that brings a coalition of people together with the hope of preserving this democratic right and to help maverick candidates during this era where the status quo seems as strong as ever.
